Visualizing
In the many years since I had my 9/11 vision, and worked with others in the realms of meditation and remote viewing, I have had many people ask me questions like “What does it look like when you visualize” or “How does it come to you” or “I can’t see anything”.
I think it is important for me to post here a Visualization 101 of sorts because I think many people who are new to meditation, or have been trying with minimal success may be going about it the wrong way. And when one struggles to attain results, stress can begin to emerge, and that is exactly opposite of the preferred result!
So, how does it look when you visualize? Is it like a TV screen on the back of your eyelids? Is it all Hollywood-like, where you hear a whoosh of air, and your field of vision fills with intense (or blurry) imagery? Is it like you zap into a beautiful landscape? The simplest answer at this point in your meditative study is NO, NO, NO!
If you are having trouble with visualizing, whether its achieving it, or even understanding it’s concept, what I want you to understand is that it is very simple: At least at first, it is EXACTLY like daydreaming.
We all have daydreamed at some point in our lives. Heck you have have daydreamed a little bit reading this article!
I also believe that for most people in general, that the deeper your state of relaxation/meditation, the better quality your visualization will be.
EXAMPLE: The Eiffel Tower.
Let’s take a trip shall we? Ok. Close your eyes and try the following:
- Imagine the Eiffel Tower. Doesn’t matter if you’ve never been there. Doesn’t matter if you get the details right or not. Nothing matters, just close your eyes and picture the Eiffel Tower. Focus on the metalwork, zoom in with your mind on the corners, the curved metal, the observation deck, the large feet, whatever.
- Now, I want you to move your point of view instantly to a position right at the foot of the tower, looking up at it. How does it feel to be next to something so tall and elegant?
- Float up next to the top of the tower, like you were on an invisible high-speed elevator. And just observe. Look at the surrounding area and remember that it doesn’t matter at all what you see. Do not worry if something in your field of view is right or not. Just MAKE IT UP. Use your imagination, let your playful imagination fill in the details.
- DO YOU REALIZE THAT RIGHT NOW YOU ARE VISUALIZING??? Think about how many times you were in school or a meeting and your mind drifted off to some “other” place and out of nowhere you snap back and realize that you’ve had your eyes open looking at the floor but not really seeing the floor, because you were imagining sitting on that beautiful beach? Amazing isn’t it? You literally and involuntarily shut off your REAL eyeball vision, and replaced it with your minds vision for those fleeting moments. THAT – RIGHT – THERE is visualization at it’s core.
Oh, for extra credit:
- Take a deep breath and smell what the air around the Eiffel Tower smells like.
- Is it hot or cold?
- What sounds do you hear around the Eiffel Tower?
Well done, if you were able to see anything there, you have just successfully visualized! Exactly the same way I visualized the 9/11 events on 9/10. Exactly the same way that psychics see the future, and the same way a filmmaker “sees” his film before it’s filmed. Exactly the same way you should visualize what you want when you practice the teachings of the Law Of Attraction (The Secret)…
Not only did you visualize the visual field, if you tried any of the “extra credit” in that Example, you also visualized other sensual data (sound, smell, touch)… In essence you were not only just “visualizing” you were also performing some of the protocols of ERV (Extended Remote Viewing), the type of Remote Viewing done through meditation.
Newcomers to this type of “traveling” will be experiencing a lot of imaginary data, but with diligent practice, they will literally pull in actual REAL data for all 6 senses (the 5 senses and the 6th sense of “emotion”). Remember, your mind is a muscle, and exercising it regularly will strengthen it greatly! Remember how we only use 5%-10% of our brain???
I have seen ordinary people gather the most AMAZING data using this simple meditative technique it would absolutely blow your mind.
Wow, this post went further than I originally intended, but hey when it’s flowing, why stop it?
My prescription!
So you’ve downloaded my MP3, or are thinking about it. Now what? Someone emailed me a few weeks ago with this question:
Hi Rob,
Thanks so much for your healing meditation. I saw you on you tube and was so pleased that you have recorded it for us to download, which I have done yesterday.
Can I please ask, do you advise only doing this once or twice daily? I have a chronic pain condition that I am trying to heal and am keen to get results as quickly as possible! Today, I did it and felt so much relief during it. Do you think it would be ok to keep in that state of imaging the blue coming in and do that, for say 30 mins?
I really believe in the power of the mind and love your testimonials. Keep up the great work.
Thanks again for your help- so much appreciated

This was my reply, the answer I have given to many people who were looking for the same guidance:
Hi [Anonymous]!
Thanks for writing…
So glad youve been getting results from it!
Alright, well my prescription is always to do it at least once a day if you can find the time. Twice wouldn’t be bad either… and for sure you can stay in that zone for as long as you like, as long as you’re not uncomfortable.
I also tell people to do something that I borrowed from the movie “The Secret”, and that is to always show some gratitude throughout the day for the healing you are getting and that you “know” you are getting.
It’s kind of one of those act-like-you-got-it-already kinds of things. Expect to be fully healed and you will be, you know?
So yes, whenever you see yourself in the mirror, or if you pick up a piece of silverware, or when you’re in the shower, just intone to yourself “thank you for this healing”… The combination of meditation, confidence in that it’s working, and gratitude will get you to a much better state much quicker

Keep it up!

In my MP3 “How To Heal Your Body Using Only Your Mind” I teach you a method that I was taught as a child. It is definitely a “mind over matter” method, and it works. Part of the inner workings of this meditative healing method is a strong belief that it works, and the best way to reinforce this belief is to practice it daily.
Just as going to the gym or exercising regularly will strengthen and align your body, practicing meditation will strengthen your mind. The same goes for this healing meditation. One only needs to read the many pieces of feedback I have received about my youtube video and healing MP3 to see that it works. Couple the belief that it works with regular mental exercise, and you will master your body’s healing abilities.
Deep Breathing – Slowing Your Heartbeat
Recently I received this question in my YouTube inbox, after a user watched my video on How To Heal Your Body Using Only Your Mind:
“Thank you so much for posting this video, it has been a great help to me. I had a question, is it possible to decrease your resting heart rate with this method? Because i’ve tried different breathing methods to relax my heart but without any results.”
Here was my reply:
I believe so absolutely. I have been able to do it myself with just simple meditation and deep breathing.
Here’s something to try (and I know you said you tried breathing methods but im not sure if you’ve tried this).
- Meditate… Relax on your back at a time/place where you won’t be bothered for a while, and turn off all your phones, etc.
- Start by just taking deep breaths.
- Inhale for 2 seconds, hold for 2, then exhale for 2. Don’t just let the air out, but let it out slowly and comfortably.
- Once you get a pattern that you find comfortable for inhaling -> holding -> exhaling, try stretching the times a bit. You don’t have to use 2/2/2 or 3/3/3, just find what is comfortable for you. (though I found that if you can keep the inhale and exhale the same amount of seconds, it works great).
- Keep at it for a while, like 15-20 minutes or more, constantly stretching the times of the breaths. Take it nice and slow, and just focus on the air going in and out of your lungs. Keep your mind and body quiet. What will happen is that your body will recognize that you are in a state where your muscles are in much less need of oxygen, due to being perfectly still. The deep breathing and holding will more than saturate your blood with oxygen as well, and thus the body’s only recourse for stabilizing the oxygen content of your blood will be to slow your heartbeat.
I’ve practiced this a lot and was able to get to the point where i was taking 1 breath a minute. My heartbeat was slower (not too slow) and I was very comfortable… This is a great exercise and you will come out of it feeling great.
